Pakistani High Commissioner calls for greater bilateral ties for Canada

He also said that the Canadian business people will be facilitated by the high commission  

High Commissioner for Pakistan to Canada Raza Bashir Tarar feels that Pakistan-Canada bilateral relationship are moving in the right direction and there is room for a lot of further enhancing them.  

He called it a relationship of substance and greater bilateral trade can take place between the two countries while speaking with local Canadian press. “Our relationship has much substance in it and it is free of any irritants which gives us room and opportunities to further develop this relationship, particularly in bilateral trade and investment”, Tarar said.  

The High Commissioner also said that Canadians interested in doing business with Pakistan will be facilitated. “The Mission is ready to provide any facilitation to the Canadian businessmen, particularly the Pakistani entrepreneurs and businessmen, to help them explore business collaborations in fields such as infrastructure, manufacturing, housing, oil and gas, education and energy in Pakistan,” he added.

He also mentioned the Pakistan community in Canada and how it is playing a positive role in the country. The high commissioner also said that discussions between Pakistan and Canada are underway to facilitate Pakistani visa seekers.

Tarar also pointed out that Pakistan’s reelection in the United Nations Human Rights Council by a huge margin of votes from all regions of the world showing their support by indicates the world’s trust as a country for its commitment for human right betterment all over the globe.  

“This election also vindicates our stance on Kashmir,” he said, adding the human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a global issues and Pakistan will continue torais its voice on the matter.
