Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also cut its fares by one-fourth on domestic flights during the first three days of Eid ul Adha (July 10-12).
“To celebrate Eid ul Adha 2022, PIA offers a special 20% flat discount on travel on the domestic sector during the Eid days” from July 10 to 12, the national carrier has announced.
Federal Minister for Aviation Saad Rafique said he issued special orders to slash PIA flight fares during the three days of Eid-ul-Azha, according to local media reports.
On July 6, the Pakistan Railways also announced a 30 percent discount on tickets in train fares to facilitate the passengers on the occasion of Eid ul Azha. Three special trains will also be operated on multiple routes before Eid-ul-Azha.
