PTCL and China Mobile International join forces at GITEX Global 2024 to boost connectivity

In a landmark partnership unveiled at GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and China Mobile International Limited (CMI) have announced a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing both national and international connectivity. This strategic alliance promises to expand the digital landscape for users in Pakistan and beyond.

The agreement was signed by Waqar Ahmed, Group Director of Enterprise Solutions at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Alex Lee, Managing Director of China Mobile International Middle East, in the presence of investors, innovators, and business leaders. The signing event underscored the commitment of both companies to improving connectivity and service quality for their customers.

This historic collaboration will leverage PTCL’s extensive fiber network, which spans over 65,000 kilometers across Pakistan, alongside CMI’s global infrastructure, featuring 305 overseas Points of Presence (PoPs). Together, they aim to deliver high-quality, scalable connectivity solutions that cater to both businesses and individual consumers.
