Pakistan Navy detected and blocked an Indian submarine from entering Pakistani waters on October 16, the military’s media wing revealed on Tuesday.
Pakistan Navy displayed “unremitting vigilance and professional competence” in detecting and blocking the attempted entry of the Indian vessel.
It was the third time that an Indian naval submarine had been detected and tracked by the Pakistan Navy’s long-range maritime patrol aircraft, the navy said.
“During the prevailing security milieu, a strict monitoring watch has been kept by Pakistan Navy to safeguard maritime frontiers of Pakistan.”
Pakistan Navy in its official statement said that “The recent incident reflects the deplorable Indian machinations vis-à-vis commitment and resolve of Pakistan Navy to defend maritime frontiers of the motherland.”
